Mr. Pettit concentrates his practice in the areas of bankruptcy, business reorganization, collections, and commercial litigation.
He has authored numerous legal publications including Hawai‘i Collection and Bankruptcy Law Manual (4th ed., 2013) and Foreclosure & Related Remedies, Hawai‘i Chapter (2011, American Bar Association).
Mr. Pettit advises and represents lenders, debtors, landlords, secured creditors, creditor committees and liquidating trusts in a variety of industries. Mr. Pettit has extensive experience in large bankruptcy cases, cross-border insolvency matters, receiverships and judicial foreclosure proceedings.
He is rated AV Preeminent, the highest level of ability and integrity by Martindale Hubbell.
