The Case Lombardi Summer Associate Program is an important element in our recruiting effort. Each year, the firm offers a limited number of summer associate positions designed to provide law students with an opportunity to experience associate life in the firm. Summer Associates are exposed to all practice areas of the firm through a variety of projects and assignments which include research, drafting memoranda and briefs, attendance at hearings and trials, client interaction, business and real estate transactions and closings. Summer Associates are also encouraged to participate in the firm’s social activities, which may include attorney lunches, dinners and other events.
The Summer Associate program runs for ten weeks from May to August. The program is traditionally offered to second year law students for the summer following their 2L year. Case Lombardi participates in the University of Hawai´i William S. Richardson School of Law on-campus interview program. Students from other law schools may contact us directly.
Applications and interviews for the Summer Associate Program are accepted from June 1 after the student’s first full year of law school.
