Mr. Aukai concentrates his practice in the areas of civil litigation and dispute resolution. He also advises clients on regulatory compliance matters. Mr. Aukai has experience representing businesses, community associations, non-profit entities, directors and officers, and individuals across the state in civil litigation, alternative dispute resolution, probate, and administrative proceedings.
Mr. Aukai attended the University of Hawai'i at Manoa and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Biology in 2014. He graduated cum laude from the University of Hawai'i, William S. Richardson School of Law in 2020. While attending law school, Mr. Aukai served as Outside Articles Editor of the University of Hawai'i Law Review. He was also the recipient of the Amy C. Richardson Award for the Best Paper on Native Hawaiian Law for his Second-Year Seminar paper on Native Hawaiian intellectual and cultural property law.
