Ms. Broulik concentrates her practice in the areas of commercial real estate, business and tax law, and estate planning. She has extensive experience representing commercial land owners, resort and residential developers, and tenants in the leasing, purchase and sale, subdivision, and condominium and planned community development of commercial real estate across the state. Ms. Broulik also advises clients on tax and estate planning and other matters affecting corporate governance and strategy.
Ms. Broulik graduated from The John Marshall Law School (nka University of Illinois Chicago School of Law) with her J.D. degree cum laude and LL.M. degree in Tax Law. Prior to private practice, Ms. Broulik externed for the Internal Revenue Service, Office of Chief Counsel, in Chicago, Illinois. She is the author of “The I.R.S.’s Flawed Solution to the Controversy Over Deductible Claims Against the Estate and the Necessity for a Date of Death Standard,” 42 J. Marshall L. Rev. 789 (2009).
Ms. Broulik is a member of the firm's Executive Committee and serves as the firm's Recruiting Director.
