EXPERIENCE

Megan N. Risso concentrates her practice in the areas of family law and probate. Ms. Risso is gaining valuable experience in a wide range of family-related matters, including divorce, alimony, property division, child custody, temporary restraining orders, and paternity. Ms. Risso's probate experience includes the appointment of personal representatives and other related estate proceedings.

Ms. Risso was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, graduating from Kamehameha Schools Kapalama in 2015. Ms. Risso obtained her Bachelor's degree in Accounting in 2018 from the University of Nevada, Reno. Ms. Risso graduated from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa William S. Richardson School of Law in 2024. During law school, Ms. Risso worked as a legal intern at the University of San Diego's Education and Disability Clinic, as well as the Hawai'i Innocence Project and Beyond Guilt Clinics at Richardson. In 2023, Ms. Risso received the CALI Excellence Award for Contract Drafting.
