Noah is a third generation Hawaii lawyer and is the head of the firm's family law practice area. Noah has extensive experience in all areas impacting family matters including, divorce, alimony, property division paternity, child custody and support, guardianship, prenuptial agreements, temporary restraining orders (TROs), and domestic abuse (criminal & civil).
After receiving his undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Mr. Gibson attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa William S. Richardson School of Law. In 2010, he obtained his Juris Doctor and a certificate in native Hawaiian law. The Hawaii State Bar Association admitted him to practice that same year, and Mr. Gibson is also admitted to practice before the U.S.
District Court for the District of Hawaii.
Fully committed to his practice, Mr. Gibson is involved with a number of professional legal organizations. He is a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association Family Law Section. He is also very active with the Hawaii State Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, having served as both a West Hawaii (Big Island) and Oahu director, as well as being selected to the HSBA Leadership Institute in 2016. Additionally, Noah has served as president of the board for Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii since 2011, where they inspire local communities to care for their coastlines through hands-on beach cleanups.
Noah Gibson has been recognized for his public service by various agencies and organizations, including as a recipient of the "Good Neighbor Award" by Mayor Mufi Hanneman, the John R. Justice Grant in criminal defense for serving underrepresented areas of Hawaii, and the HSBA “Justice Award” (2018) for his exemplary community service following the devastating floods on the north shore of Kaua'i.
Most importantly Noah is a husband to his wife Lauren, and father to their two young boys, who are his
pride and joy.
